Definition:

CBP is short for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, an agency within the Department of Homeland Security created after 9/11. The agency's purpose is to keep terrorists and their weapons out of the United States. It also has a responsibility for securing and facilitating trade and travel while enforcing hundreds of U.S. regulations, including immigration and drug laws.
