Speak Out on Immigration

Speak Out on Immigration

Judging by its current 10th place ranking, many of you recently voted in Change.org's Ideas for America campaign to support the DREAM Act. The Change.org campaign will close on Thursday at 5pm ET and the top 10 ideas will be presented to the new administration on Friday.

But did you know there is another way to have your immigration ideas presented to the new president?

The Obama-Biden Transition Team is providing you with the opportunity to weigh in on the issues that are important to you with the development of the Citizen's Briefing Book. This is your chance to speak out on immigration and let the Obama-Biden administration know where you stand on the issue. The top-rated ideas will be delivered to President-elect Obama after he is sworn in.

Submit your idea or support one of the existing immigration ideas by logging into the Citizen's Briefing Book on the Obama-Biden Transition Team website, Change.gov. After creating a Change.gov account, you can vote existing ideas up or down, make comments or submit your own ideas about the future of immigration in this country.

Suggestions receiving the most votes will "rise to the top" and be included in the briefing book. Although we are not told how many of the top ideas will be included in the briefing book (Top 10 in each category? Top 100 overall?), you should not miss this opportunity to make your voice heard.
