Razor wire atop border fence curbs attacks on border patrol

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has finished installing razor wire atop a violent a 5-mile stretch of fence fence separating San Diego from Tijuana. The San Diego Sector experienced a record number of assaults in this past fiscal year (384), but CBP says that its "enforcement strategy in concert with border infrastructure enhancements have helped to curb violent attacks in recent months."
