Reminder: New Filing Instructions for I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Permanent Residence

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has revised the filing instructions for Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Permanent Residence. Effective immediately, I-751 Petitions must be sent to the California or Vermont Service Centers only.

The California and Vermont mailing addresses can be found on the I-751 Petition instructions provided by the USCIS, as well as on the Step-by-Step Guide to Removing Conditions on Permanent Residence.

In addition to having the correct mailing address, double-check the version date of the form you're using (you'll find the date on the bottom right of each page). The latest form is dated August 25, 2008. Beginning September 24, 2008, USCIS will reject all previous versions of the forms, as well as any sent to the incorrect Service Center.
