Wednesday July 16, 2008
Immigration Themed Art Exhibit in Chicago

"Passport to the United States of America" by Anni Holm is shown in Chicago's National Museum of Mexican Art. The portraits were each made using about 4,000 life-size fingerprints of international students. The piece is part of the 2008 exhibit called "A Declaration of Immigration," which features the works of over 70 artists depicting the experiences and viewpoints of the U.S. immigrant communities.
